when world raid items you get to buy items say chance on it. do you have a better chance of getting more from hitting the boss with 1, 5, or 20? or does it base all on perception? Seems i got a lot more from leveling one time using 20 as i did using 1

Legion Equipment vs. Profile Equipment

If this has been answered, I could not locate the thread.

I'm trying to figure out how legion equipment is relevant, as in what effect does the equipment within the legion have. Does the legion apply the equipment's procs or does the legion acquire/apply the equipment's ATK/DEF properties, maybe both? If my 'Profile' includes the same equipment that is active in the Legion, are bonuses, say double ATK/DEF/DMG/Procs, applied to the legion's overall power? I don't understand how the legion uses equipment and how my 'Profile' set-up also affects raid damage. Say I'm wearing any set in my 'Profile' and a different set is active in my legion - will both set's procs/attributes be applied to raid interaction?

Simple suggestion: Allow us to craft 1 gear from 100 clockwork parts.
Reason? To many useless cw parts plus the fact gear drop from raids only (yeah, quest-focused players screwed up again).

PS: Now i have 80 000 CW parts as 2500 level player with ballanced build (i used to have strong energy build). That would be 800 parts, that means 26 familiars. Nothing that breaks ballance IMHO.

New dynamics for WR

The way in which the new WR has been set up has been quite a clever new development. Prior to this there was a bit of an exponential effect where only the strongest players hit the top tier, they got the best loot and got even stronger. Whilst the newer/low level players only got poor loot in the WR and found it impossible to get traction.

Using the on-hit drops for most of the decent loot is a good way to even it out, as even low/mid-level players can get all of the new Derek set , even if they can't get the general and the boosts. It also means the super-high level players don't blast the WR in 2 levels and in essence have to over-hit it to get all the on-hit drops, so a bit more of a challenge for them.

Not saying it is the only way forward, but good to have a few of these raids to help out the neewbies and add a bit of variety into the game.

Hey all,

the last weeks I noticed the new System is not really working perfect. I used RC before and since I had to change browsers to play i now used Public Raid System for the last weeks.
So I go through the raids and join all I need (all Raids except Elites and some I got orange on and not going for Red)... Then I click refresh... Then I need to go through the List again, and then there are some Raids that didnt showed before (not new ones; old ones!). For me most of the times there were no Frozen Spires the first run, and then there were 3-4 in the second... I watched Chat and they were not shared durcing first joining. And since its always some Raids (Frozen, Jorms and the AP-Shop-Raids mostly) that only show in the second run, I dont think they got shared hidden... Anyone else noticing that problem? Could the devs look into this?

New campaign challenges

Just a thought that for some of our strongest hitters, camps are getting simpler that perhaps new challenges could make things interesting for camps

Fearful: Every node will have Frighten Mount and Intimidate
Rewards:
C: Guild Tokens, 2xSP Crafts
U: Lesser Draught of Courage, 2xSP Crafts
R: Greater Draught of Courage, 2xSP Crafts
E: Anti-FM Consumable or Rune (something that fulfills player wishes asked for here)
Special Perk: Gold Nodes 2x as likely to appear at applicable nodes
Prerequisites/Requirements: Can only be done on hard

TagTeam: In order for a node to be successful, at least 20% of the raid's party capacity must hit the node. If fewer than 20% hit, the node will restart as if failed
Rewards: Same as standard campaign, but double drop chances for campaign epic loot (respective to each node)
Special Perk: 2xGuild Experience and 2xGuild reputation per node (except boss)
Prerequisites/Requirements: None

Ultimate Challenge: Only vs campaign procs deal additional damage to nodes in addition to base damage.
Rewards:
C: 4xSP Crafts, 2xGuild Tokens
U: 4xSP Crafts, Potion Satchels (or some special consumable like Magma Treasures)
R: 4xSP Crafts, Past Camp Boss Bags
E: 4xSP Crafts, Past Camp Rare Spawn Boss Bags
Special Perk: Non vs campaign procs deal 0 damage
Prerequisites/Requirements: Unlocked after 1 successful completion of Hard with Fatigued challenge

since i came back to the game i have received less chests than people same rank as me (exalted), usually 6. i put it down to rng originally but last camp i didnt get any chests after dumping 5 levels of honor in it roughly around 60b dmg. something isnt right and i am very unhappy. IGN Phoenix, lvl 1708 army code HTHNHDOJ

anyone else realized just how strong this troop can get?

starts 190/175, owning Kodiak and 50 of them makes it 270/255. if happen to have dax and sir lenus, they jump up to 360/345 even with out Kodiak in the legion.

happen to toss Kodiak into the legion and they turn into 390/375 (300/285 without dax and lenus) troops.

for free troops they could be a rather large boost for free(ish) players.

Camp curses

The timers for curses restart if I leave a node then rejoin. For example, timer was under 4 minutes when I left and back over 4 minutes when I came back. Tried it multiple times.

Edit: Also the timer is not counting while not in the node so you literally have to sit there while the timer counts down.

even use the set piper and only 6 legions good or I think ..

There are several external works done by players which are intended to help us in various ways. Everything from helping us set up our best leveling gear, to telling us which legions to use for PvP and many other purposes. The problem all of these have is they either assume we have everything, or they require us to input every single unique item we have into their own tables.

I think it might be a massive help for all involved if 5PG provided a way for us players to export a list of our inventory (and preferably lists of our troops, generals and legions as well) to a text file.

I feel confident that many of these player generated sites would be willing to adapt them to work with text based input files if 5PG were to provide a way for players to generate them.

Newish player - Crafting & Loot description question

Hi, I've been playing for over a month now. I've been through the tutorial/new player links, (those that are still active - somebody should check and update them).

One thing I am am having an issue with is using loot in the Crafting section.
At first I was just using it to gain stat points, but then I noticed some of it could also be used to create items, troops, etc. Had I know that before, I would have saved for these rather than stat points, (a lot of the items/troops provide better damage, helping me get more loot drops in raids, etc.).

The 'Unfiltered/Partial Recipe/Ready To Craft' views are in no real order, so it's easy to miss something.

Now, I'm currently just hoarding everything, until I can see more options of what I can craft with them.

Is there a list/database that has all loot drops and crafting items listed, so when you find the item of choice, it shows you all possible recipes, (and recipe trees, as some recipes create items that can then be used to create better items, and so on), for that item, (to provide players with better choice of what to make with it)?

Can't summon 'Raid (Colossal)'

So the problem is that I can't summon colossal raids, it says "Raid (Colossal) is being used". It has been like this for about a year now, it hasn't posed any problems for me so I haven't bothered, but no that I want to make some legendaries, it's a big issue. Help me please!

A new magic Sleep with the fishes

Sleep with the fishes A brand new magic!


Ok, basically this is a spell it is your choice if it should be an immortal magic or IDS magic or just a looted/bought magic. Basically, it deals A grievous amount of damage to aquatic raid(small proc chance though)with a Magic value average of around 25. It will proc on aquatic raids (kinda obvious yeah) and on abyssal raids and will stack for abyssal/aquatic raids.The magic value will be same for both types of raids. Its icon will look a bit like an ocean with a merman deep in it. Millions of fish have formed a sort of golem and are looming over him.(If anyone can do a graphic for it would be great)Additionally, it will deal have a 12% chance to give a message: Blup blup blup! and deal twice the usual damage added from the magic. The rest 88% it will work normally. It will be gotten either from initiate of the abyss's pendants or in one of the expeditions.
Summary:
Sleep with the fishes
Deals grievous damage to aquatic and abyssal raids. Stacks collectively on aquatic/abyssal raids. 12% chance for lore yell and twice the usual damage.

Description: Even the strongest can not survive the depths the seas seek to reclaim what was theirs and it would be best that you feed them your enemies instead of yourself!

Lag is making the game unplayable, I could possibly make it to MT etc if it werent for this lag, please add more time to WR!

The magic Guster's Fault has solved 2 long asked for wishes from the community, needing pots for those who burn loads of them and reinstating vampire lockboxes in a non-obtrusive way.

Thanks so much for that. But the cynics are wondering if this was a design mistake and will the magic be adjusted to not be as valuable/useful as it is now. However, I'd like to believe this isn't since it is RNG mercy for players and seems balanced to me.

But before we find out in patch notes, could we get a comment or 2 from you to make sure :)

Are you TRYING to make the game more tedious by encouraging 1-hitting raids? I'm just curious as to the logic behind this as it clogs the game up and slows everything down. Or is that the logic to slow everything down? Why can't you make a 20 hit equal the chances of 20 1-hits for a drop? EDIT: I remember back in 2011 or 12 we did a ton of testing in R1 and the drop rates ended up evening out. Now it seems confirmed that 1-hits drop more. Why did this change? When did this change?

Adding the power of substitution

One avenue for potential revenue is adding content that has the ability to substitute something else that is required for a "recipe" and this is not something I have seen yet in the game play.

Let me illustrate what I mean with a few examples. It's important to note that I'm not limiting the term recipe to just craft recipes, but anything that has a specific requirement to be met to be utilized

Magics
Magics like Boil has a recipe that gives a bonus to damage for owning very specific content that cannot be obtained at any time but from a very specific instance. If you introduce a general that allows a player to get a bonus as if they owned one of the generals that the magic takes for being in an active legion. this introduces a new element of game play.

Premium/Freemium Boost Recipes
Certain premium and freemiums recipes offers a power up for attaining something specific, if something that can count, that could enhance value

Craft Recipes
There are certainly situations where players get frustrated do to loot drop rates and being short one color for an SP recipe. What if we had an item that can substitute the shortage on color, it would solve a lot of headaches. It could also be an alternative for obtaining craft recipes for World Raids that aren't run.

Allowing the Red Coin (or whatever) also have the dual ability to be a wild card color in crafts could go a long way to helping players

Legion Formation Recipes
Certain Magical Beings and those with arcane ability to transform should be able to substitute any race specific slot in a legion general/troop recipe (ie: Utym, Tomb Mimic, LiAnn, Illusory Illes)

Just some thoughts and guiding principles to this potentially complicated mechanic
3 Limitations
  1. An item can only boost one specific instance in a raid encounter. If something has the opportunity to boost 2 or more boostable resources in a single raid, one is picked in a way the devs decide (perhaps a priority: 1) Legion Asset 2) Magic 3) Gear Proc).
  2. Items can substitute only in their class. A substitutable gen can only take the place of another gen in a recipe. SP items can only take the place of an SP color (ie: SP wildcard brown can fill in any brown item in a recipe). The exception of the red drop which can fill in any color
  3. There are no substitutes for familiars or very specific owning items like Harvested/Sculpted Crystals.

Substitute in name only
: Substitution is simply an ability (could be passive or active) and doesn't gain the scaling or proc effect or damage that the item they are substituting for.
